MsGonzalez artist portrait at a market in Portobello road

Hola 👋

I'm Paula, the artist behind MsGonzalez. I'm from a small town in Spain called Ponferrada (in beautiful El Bierzo) but have been living in London for almost 15 years now. I've always loved art and design, and spent years working in the creative industries. But it wasn't until the infamous 2020 that I started making collages, both analogue and digital. And that's how MsGonzalez was born! Right place at the right time I guess. One year later I was able to quit my job and dedicate myself to MsGonzalez full time. A lot has happened since then, including publishing my book, Even More Extraordinary Things to Cut Out and Collage, with Laurence King Publishing. It has sold over 40,000 copies so far, which doesn't feel real! In early 2026, I decided it was time to expand into wholesale. I turned my core collection into greeting cards, and now they are being stocked by over 100 retailers around the world. (If you're one of my stockists, hiiiii I love you 🫶.) More recently, I've also started taking part in markets and fairs, which I absolutely love. You can find out where I'll be next over on Instagram. My style is a mix of nostalgic imagery and cheeky, unexpected elements, with a touch of graphic design and a healthy dose of humour. People have described my art as 'silly', 'absurd' and 'the right amount of trashy', and I'll happily take all of those! Alongside running MsGonzalez I also consult for creative events and agencies. My free time is spent travelling (or planning my next trip), visiting exhibitions, playing mahjong and eating my way around London. Interested in collaborating, stocking MsGonzalez, or just fancy saying hello? I'd love to hear from you.

FAQs

Where can I buy your prints?

In many places! If based in the US I would recommend taking a look at my Etsy shop, if anywhere else you can visit my GoodMood shop. If you are in London or planning to visit, my prints are cheapest at markets! Follow me on instagram to see where I will be next.

How can I stock your products in my shop?

My favourite question. You can find my stickers, greeting cards, postcards and art prints all in my Faire shop (using this link ensures Faire takes zero commission from the sale). If you don't want to use Faire please email me and I will send you my catalogue directly. Alternatively you can find me at Top Drawer in January 2027! Stand W61.

What do you use to make your collages?

These days my collages are put together mostly in Photoshop, and if I'm feeling fancy I will also use my trusty Wacom tablet. If you mean where do I find my materials, from a million places! Internet archives, vintage magazines, copyright free image banks, etc. 45% of collaging is sourcing the materials (I just made that up but you get the idea.) If you're stuck on that front, may I suggest buying my book? 😏

Do you do commissions/illustrations/book covers?

At the moment I don't have a lot of capacity so I avoid personal commissions. However I am always open for brand collaborations and editorial work. Please email me with more info and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Do you ship stickers internationally?

Not right now but I will be, hopefully very soon! Join my mailing list for updates on that.
